It's important to remember that whilst we use the best AAA Grade, 100% Human Remy Hair, on the market, that it will still require lots of care and attention. I recommend to all of my clients to buy a small 25ml bottle of Moroccan Oil, from a reputable salon or through here - to last them the duration of the hair extensions.
Not only is Moroccanoil Treatment an ultra-light formula which is absorbed by the hair instantly, resulting in a natural, silky finish and brilliant shine without leaving a residue but it also has the ability to restore over-processed hair damaged by environmental factors and chemical procedures.
KEEP YOUR HAIR SHINY & HEALTY
Contrary to common misconception, Micro Ring hair extensions can be styled as you would your own hair. In fact, blow drying the extensions, with a suitable paddle brush on a medium heat setting, can actually improve the condition of the hair, by smoothing the cutlicles down.
Similarly, if you wish to straighten or curl your Micro Ring hair extensions, you should always use a good heat protector produtc, such as Moroccan Oil, click here to buy or something like Ciment Thermique by Kerastase, which is a little pricier but well worth the investment as it will work wonders to protect and nourish your own hair too.
STYLING YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS
RESPECT & PROTECT
The first thing we want to do when we have Micro Ring extensions on holiday is to show them off on the beach or by the pool - however, as with your own hair, the sun is it's worst enemy.
PROTECT & RESPECT your extensions by always wearing a hat or headscarf in the sun and always endevour to wear your hair up in a bun on top of your head whilst swimming, either in the sea or pool.
If your Micro Ring extensions do come into contact with salt water or chlorine, ensure that you rinse hair thoroughly with clean water.
Each month I like to feature my top video tutorials, either on a No 1 product of the month, great styling tips or other ways of taking care of your Micro Ring Hair Extensions, to ensure they last you as long as possible.
